6/11/09 CO/KS/OK/TX

Wish I could be chasing today but life isn't going all that great back here at home.

--I looked at the north TX target today but screw that terrain, even for a virtual chase.
I would target se CO maybe starting out near Lamar/Springfield. 12z NAM and recent sfc obs/soungdings show good parameters that might overlay in this area this afternoon for some supercells and even a surprise tornado. I see Vortex is headin for Sublette early on, good luck.


--Another target would be in the juce and insane intability in west central TX.

TOR warnings already ongoing in Colorado. More initiation looks to take place around Lubbock/Plainview within the next few hours.

Wow, I'm really mad at myself now for not going. Two beautiful supercells (on radar at least) in between Lamar and Pueblo.
Looks like you guys are just now making ya'lls way there. Hope there is something dragging the ground by the time you get in position.

EDIT - currently watching Todd Thorn's live stream. Sculpted updraft and what looks to be a funnel.
