9/13/09 Tucson, AZ

you all knew it was comin. i got a chance to go out and try and shoot some lightning. however, i was out for about an hour and I got a measley two shots. it turns out the desert road networks are piss poor and hardly any turn offs off of the road. the storm was off in the distance so i was able to use my zoom lens to get a little bit closer than the 17-40. the storm looked like it was back building to the west, but once i got settled and set up, it was already pretty far east near benson, AZ, about 30-40 miles east of base. anyways, when i started to here coyotes howling, i decided it was about time to go. i'll post the pics later when i can get some good wi-fi.
