Well my graduation present came in today that my parents bought me... I ended up going with the cheaper Tamron 18-270 mm it has won awards for being the best in its class among all other all-in one lenses. with the XT it ends up being approximately 28mm - 430mm so ill be excited to put it to use...... it has wide angle capabilities along with telephoto........ should be perfect for storm chasing.....
