I'll be in OK today somewhere ( or maybe near TX panhandle). I've been chasing with my dad the past few days. Not sure what to expect but anything that stays severe for any period of time will be better than most of what we've seen. I might give you a call later and see whats going on.

uhhhh... well it is looking a little bleak for the southern plains. now might be a good time to move to that second chase home out on the high plains in SD/ND. both the 00z and 12z GFS ensembles had a nice ridge building in over the central and southern plains for the entire forecast period. there looked to be a few opportunities in the far north plains in their a few times, nothing to really write home about.
